Hard Disk keeps on reading

Recently I installed Ms Office Xp in to my computer. After that my hard disk working all the day. What could be the problem. Where to look ?

I once load office and it had a program called fast find it would index the drives I dont know if xp has fast find

the easy way to find out if it does go ctrl alt del and look in the list box to see if fastfind or findfast is running


if it is and you know how to get to the fastfind.exe double click on it and disable it..........

if you are running 98se you can click on start run and in the box type fastfind.exe

MAC!!!!!!!!!

my putter no longer has fastfind on it for this reason
