On a WIN2K machine I need to change the default view that a folder is opened in when it is opened from a hyperlink. For example, say a hyperlink is clicked on in Word97 that opens the directory C:\Windows. Right now the computer will open the folder using explorer view with the directory tree to the left. For some reason, it takes much longer to open explorer when the directory tree is displayed on the left, so I want to make explorer open without using the directory tree.
I've already tried to solve this myself, and all I have been able to find is that changing the way all folders are opened (i.e. from a shortcut, or My Computer) doesn't affect the way they are opened from a hyperlink.
