I like the kiosk mode in IE. But can you tell me how I can add the toolbar to the kiosk mode? All I want is a kiosk mode IE browser with a tool bar.

I believe that's the whole idea behind kiosk mode.

Try F11, see how you like that.

But how do you force IE running in full-screened mode?

Try this:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\main
Right-click on the main key, choose new>StringValue, name it FullScreen. Right-click on that, choose modify and type in yes.

This reg tweak seems to add an option in Internet Options to force Internet Exporer to run in full screen mode... I don't know...
Just found it.
Good Luck!!!

Alan,

Did you shutdown and restart after making the change.

If the close IE in fill-screen mode by clicking the X, it will open up in that state when you start it again.

Do you know how to disable the F11 button after the browser launches? I just want to limit users to work on the full-screened mode. Or can you disable the restore button?

Not without 3rd party software , I believe. See if the others have any suggestions.
