Where is My Briefcase?

I forgot what I have done to the registry these past couple of days. It seemed like My Briefcase folder has dissapeared from both the desktop and My Computer. I tried to find it using the windows explorer but nothing came out.

If you use Tweakui, check there first. On the Desktop tab.

Copy and paste the following text between the lines into Notepad and save as repairbriefcase.reg on your desktop. Double-click on the file to restore the briefcase..

I've import the registry setting you told me.
But i seemed my briefcase still missing...
any idea?

Click the F5 key on an empty area of the desktop, or shutdown and restart your computer.

do you think may be there is some file missing ?
for i.e the *.dll file or maybe the briefcase icon file?

Make sure the hidden desktop.ini file is there. This is the contents:

Shutdown a nd restart or click on an empty area of the desktop and hit the F5 key.

Now try right-clicking on the desktop, choose new. Does briefcase appear?
