Win2000 says that my Proc is 251Mhz. IT's an AMD K62-500. Is there a .reg key that I can change? Because some programs don't think that I can run them.

This is automatically detected on each restart -- but you could try changing the value ~Mhz at [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DESCRIPTION\System\Cen tralProcessor\0] before you try and run your program but it depends on where the software is getting the information from.

Also check your BIOS for the software multiplier/bus speed setting. My IWill motherboard defaults to a 400MHz. If that's not the problem, try checking dxdiag and find out how fast it finds your CPU.
