Explorer has lost functionality and causes an error that shuts it down when I try to expand the tree view or dbl click the drive icon. KB says it is caused by homesite or cold fusion- I dont have these. So far I cannot locate any info regarding this problem.
The error simply states that explorer has caused errors and will shut down. you will have to restart the program. Event ID is 1002 and is not clear at all about the issue. I am currently running IE6-2479
on W2k SP2/ dual boot.
Any Ideas??

You probably should post a question such as this at a place like www.epeople.com.

This is probably not directly related to the registry.

Build 2479 should have fixed that problem. It did for me and others I've talked with. Maybe because of Win2K.

Hopefully all the posts I've made to numerous groups; the expense of on line tech support, and my own knowledge will resolve this issue.

my goal is to resolve with out reformatting. What a pain on a dual boot!!

What ever the resolution, I will post results to the groups I have communicated with. I have yet to find a similar occurance-but I am sure someone has had a similar experience out there!
