Internet Explorer EXE: Error on shut down

I have an issue with spy doctor. Since I installed this program a few weeks ago, my laptop hangs up on shut down then I get a "explorer.exe" failure box that appears. It closes and the computer loses all of it icons on the desktop. At this point I have to perform a hard shutdown.

It's driving me crazy. It was fine until installation of this product. What is going on and what can I do.

Have you perform a scan with Spyware Doctor prior to this problem?

If you did try to perform a Restore on Spyware Doctor, so that it can undo anything that it did prior to the problem. Or you can try to fix the problem on safe mode.
