I'd like to know of a way to change the default OPEN and CLOSED folder icon in regedit. Don't want to use an icon changing application everytime I create a folder.

Thanks--

Try this:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\explorer\Shell Icons]
; Closed folder
"3"="C:\\WIN95\\SYSTEM\\Shell32.dll,3"
; Open folder
"4"="C:\\WIN95\\SYSTEM\\Shell32.dll,20"
