Hi, I am having trouble everytime I download a utility after its downloaded when I click on it to run the program it wants to open up through notepad and when it opens it has all of these symbols how can I fix this, Oh I am useing win 98 SE

Sounds like the extension .zip is associated with Notepad. First off, do you have a unzipping program? You can download one and it will automatically open .zip files( and fix the association problem). That would be the easiest way to go. Here's a link to a popular unzipping program called Winzip:

If that's not the problem, open Windows Explorer, go to View>Folder Options, click the File Types tab, scroll till you see zip, click the edit button and choose remove if it says Notepad.
