Due to the fact that I install and un-install a lot of programs that I download from the net, I find myself with a problem. Upon boot up I receive the message “netboot can not be deleted it is need by windows” Seven or eight times. As I use the computer I periodically receive the same message. I have no idea what program is trying to delete my netboot and hoping you can help.
I have run regclean and reg cleaner. I have cleaned out all the programs I dare to but it still brings up the delete message. Any help would be appreciated.
Win 2000, home use, one machine, and please keep in mind I am not a professional in this so if you think it is beyond a layman’s ability to tare apart the registry. Then I will live with it till I decide to reformat and start anew.
