Wondering if there is a quick and easy way to remove Win98 from my Win98/Win2K dual boot setup? 98 is on C: and 2K is on D:. Program files for 98 and 2K are mixed in the Program Files dir on C: plus some 2K proggies on Program Files on D:
I know I could clean install 2K and start from scratch but want to know if there is way to remove 98 without messing it all up?
Any tips appreciated.
Jon

I've got the exact same problem at home. I am working on it and will let you know as soon as I get around to it. I figure I'll remove the win98 entry first in the boot.ini and delete the system files from explorer after.

if you don't mind leaving it there and just want to boot up w/o that option you can control panel>system>advance>start up recovery and change the time to zero, once your happy with that you can change the windows 98 folder name to something else, see if theres a problem, after a while if everything, then delete that folder.
ok, one other thing, since you don't care about win98, delete as many programs as possible, delete the folders if you don't need it, then do above
