I've searched for this *seemingly* everywhere, but can't find anything relating to it.
My Win NT 4 PC at work won't let me do a few things because I don't have the privilege levels (such as add a new printer, change the system time).
I just wondered how i'd go about enabling these functions again? Would I need the windows policy editor?
Thanks.

Yes, such settings are managed with help of the Policy Editor.

But you mentioned, that this is on a machine at your company. So it also means you are on a machine managed by an Administrator, and that you are in a secured environment. If the setup is properly done, you do not have the privileges to break the rules, that your Admin has specified for you as a user.

Apart from this, at this site we do not encourage users to crack the work of administrators.

Ah, I thought that would be the case, I just wasn't sure if it was a client sided configuration. Ok, i'll just bug them about it. Thanks for your help.
