I have enabled a default Wallpaper Policy under Win95b.
I have also removed the option of "Display Properties" in Control Panel, but this does NOT stop the user from right clicking an image in IE4/5 and choosing "Save as Wallpaper".
Also I want to stop the use from using "Add/Remove Programs" - Any idea's?
Thanks!!!
I have used Regmon95 from www.sysinternals.com and have looked in the Registry for any clues. I haven't had any success with this! Help.
The users are beating me!

I had the same problem here, one option I found is to make the Internet Explorer Wallpaper.bmp READ-ONLY, that way when someone tries to change the wallpaper, it is read only, so it isn't modified. The only thing, is that IE Wallpaper will substitute any previous BMP wallpaper. Well, you can duplicate any BMP or JPG you use for wallpaper and copy it to the "Internet Explorer Wallpaper.BMP". Another way is by using RegEdt32 under Windows NT. Look under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Desktop\General
the key "Wallpaper" and "Backup Wallpaper" point to the file used for the wallpaper (if using Active Desktop). Under Windows NT you can change the security permission of this key so that users can't modify it.

A simple way to not have add/remove programs show up in control panel, would be to either delete or rename Appwiz.cpl in the windows\system folder.
