Using Windows 98 IE: When I select an entry in the internet options section and right click - choose open - a dialog box suggests "running a system command on thie item might be unsafe". (Do you want to continue?) Do you feel my machine will self destruct if I click Yes? Or does anyone know what might occur? Thanks,

Nothing bad will happen. This message is just one of those annoying things that Windows does.

Windows does not want people to go routing around what it considers "system" files.

Don't worry... click 'yes' all you like.

I remember reading once that there was a registry hack which could turn this stupid message off - but I cannot remember it right now.

Ask around here for the hack, and you should get a quicker response than if I was to go searching for the document.
