Error Dialog (http://www.dabros.com/images/jamielee/runtimeerror.jpg)

Just thought I'd make it easier for other people to view first.

When are you getting this error?

Is it when you are viewing a web-page? Or when you are running a script yourself?

It looks like a dodgy Windows Script.

Now, I know you upgraded from your previous version of the Windows Scripting Host, but you are still getting this error!

So, I thinks that the script itself is rubbish. Why not post the link to the page, or post the script itself so I, and others can see for ourselves.

If the script itself is the problem, you may want to be helpful and tell the writer of the script.

You could turn off 'script debugging', but, why should you!

Get the information I requested and I'll take another look then.

You could just not have installed the new version of the Scripting Host properly.

There is some information around the Micro$oft download page which explains about the Scripting Host sometimes not installing properly, and what to do.

Sorry... I went all long winded and forgot something!!!

The error just looks like a simple Syntax Error. Post the script, or the web-page like I requested.

That is the result of a bug in a script on the web page you retrieved.

But:
if you disabled running scripts for the site you accessed, it will be the same message too.

By this J mean, that the site is associated with a Security Zone (as you can set in the Internet Options dialog) and specific setting disables scripts.
