Task Manager (W2k PRO)

Im having trouble with the services that are running in the processes under task manager. I will shut dow a program, and it will stay running in the processes until i shut completely down. At that time windows will ask to end task. This is becoming very bothersome due to time restrictions

Does this happen will all tasks ? If it's only one specific task, then it seems to me, that it is programmed to run a shut down sequence, and then ignores final terminates, or it just rejects the termination request. Contact the author.
