Hello,
I'm running WIN2k Advanced Server on a P3-800 with 384M of RAM and 40G hard disk space. My system sits on the "Preparing network connections" screen for about 10 mins. I have 2 NICs installed, one is for my LAN (static IP) and the other is for my DSL modem (static IP also). I have DHCP running on the server for my other 3 workstations. Is there any way to make the system boot up faster? This was not an issue when I was running Win2K Server.

Thanks
Dennys

Nevermind...I found out that Norton Internet Security was holding it up... Now is running fine.
