Programs in "Open With" Dialog Box

Hi,
Where Can I find the programs that are listed in "Open With" Dialog Box?

My idea is the next: this dialog box has a lot of programs so it is very slow. I would to delete some programs from the list. Is it possible?

I believe you'll find them under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT. Any entry with a shell,ShellNew or Content Type entry may be in the list.

Check with the others to be sure.

If you use RegCleanr, there is a tool to modify that list, but it only work on Windows 2000. Since you didn't mention any specific OS I thought this could help.

I have tried to find in Registry of W98 the programs that appears in "Open With" Dialog Box.
Unsuccesfull.
