a friend of mine have a problem with his comp.
he tried to open a program in dos
and now he can't even open windows 98
he's getting a blue screen that read :
A fatal exception 0D has occurred at 014f:00001206

can someeone help me with this ?

One of the best things about 98, is that it keeps a backup of the registry for the past 5 days, or more with ini file editting.

Try hitting F8 on startup, choose command prompt only. At the c: prompt, type:
cd\windows\command
then type:
scanreg /restore
and choose a date prior to the problem.
