Dose anyone know what key name replaced enableautodisconnect = 0 in IE 6.0 (this was used in previous internet explorer)
Every thing that I have read says this is supposse to stop the IE from asking to disconnect after you close it..................

I assume that you are wanting to enable the option. Go to Internet Options/Connections (tab)/Settings/Properties/Dialing (tab)/ and then place a check in the box below which reads, "Disconnect when connections may not be needed" this should enable it. Or uncheck the box to disable the option. HTH

I am running IE6.0 and microsoft network driver dun14-se. The update box that you are talking about is not there any more and I changed the enableautodisconnect in the registry but it doesnot affect IE 6.0...........also the disconnect after so many minutes is grayed out............
If I load netzip download demon the Internet Explorer will not ask the question because netzip holds it open but if I unload NDD IE start asking the question again................
Thanks Mac!!!!!!!!
