How do u make ur CD rom drive keep spinning?

I've noticed that if u leave ur cd idle in ur cd rom drive that it will stop spinning. When u start using the cd drive again it starts up and this causes a delay. I wonder if it is possible to keep the cd-rom spinning at all times.

I'm not claiming to know the answer.

But, you could try looking through your driver settings for the CD drive. Also, power management settings. Even your BIOS.

I do doubt that this is possible though - I wouldn't imagine it to be practicle either.
