Windows Version on Desktop

We are currently looking to roll W2K out around the UK. To allow for some versioning control we would would like to paint some info on the desktop.

On this site I found the 'PaintDesktopVersion' key, however I would like to know if anyone knows how we can change the writing that appears to something different or append to it.

In this case you are better off by creating a wallpaper containing the text you wish to see. Use this to rollout Win2K by defining it for the Default user.
