Back to Spyware Doctor Version 6.1.0.447

With the first Clean download of Spyware Doctor (w/o Av) Version 7.0.0.508 my computer was working very well. After about a week I have noticed that the performance of my computer has gone down (speed). Disabled S/D preformance would go up. Went back to Version 6.1.0.447 which I never had any problems with. Everything is working fine with 447. I plan on trying version 7 again in a few weeks. The question is, do I still get the same security coverage on my computer running the 447 ?

I sent you a PM.
SDv7 has a better scanning engine, a lot more signatures then compared with SDv6. Behavior Guard is also using a new (ThreatFire) engine compared with the previous version, therefore there is a significant difference in the 2 versions.

I didn't want this thread to go unanswered about the solution to the slowing down to my computer. I did some adjustments to NIS as described in this thread:

The adjustments helped both of my computers in speed, even my 8 year old computer that has always been slow as molasses on a cold winter day. :)
