Hi!
I often use telnet and I have an annoying problem. I can create a shortcut to my server,
e.g. D:\WINDOWS\TELNET.EXE server.name
but then the connection is made with default properties. These are (in my version of W98):
Port: telnet
Terminal: vt100
Under this the work with my server is horrible! I need terminal type VT100 not vt100.
In order to do so, I have to click run Telnet without parameters, click Connect, Remote system... and manually change the terminal type. This is annoying, I would like to have a shortcut on my desktop that would connect me using directly VT100 terminal type. How can I change it? In the registry (which key?) or in the "Properties" tab of the shortcut (how?)?
Oh yes, connecting to the server and then typing term=VT100 doesn't help.
Thanks very much,
Michael
