Partially disabling av

At present I have a 3 machine license. Am using sd+av on two vista business machines. with the serious exception of the slowness on the network sd av is working okay.

I've just ordered a netbook with the win7 starter that will take a week or so to arrive. I believe it comes with some other anti-malware software that i'd like play with for a while.

I'm pretty sure the other anti-malware stuff will work with SD (but not with sd av).

Is there any way i can keep sd av on the two machines that it is now on, and then on the netbook only use SD without av. I can't figure out how since i turn on av in my account?

The only option here is to disable the AV within SD. Because you are using the 1 subscription, the AV is tied into the subscription, therefore, I don't think anything can be done in this kind of circumstance. Try disabling the AV component in SD when running with the other programs and see if this conflicts. It might run without any problems.
