Keyboard LED Lights NT

LED lights for CAPS and Scroll lock are not lighting up. In DOS, the lights are working fine, NT kicks in and the lights are disabled. CAPS and Scroll lock still work but the lights remain off. Have replaced the keyboards, updated the bios to 1006a- nothing. About once every 2 weeks another NT user mentions that this is now a problem. With a reinstall of NT it is now working. All the NT machines are on the same build and it is pretty locked down here. I am stumped.

I'm not sure where exactly in the registry it is, but it sounds like NT is not interacting with your keyboard(s) properly. I had this problem on an SMS server a while back, and I needed to remotely edit the registry on the machine, releasing both the keyboard and mouse (I think I reinstalled the drivers for them as well, but I'm sketchy on that as well). I don't remember where the registry entries were, but I remember it worked.
