Spy. Doc. V7 Manual Update Question?

I have noticed the last couple of times I have performed a manual update of Spyware Doctor V7.0.0.508 that once the update is completed it has asked me to reboot the PC. I am just wondering is this going to be common occurrence from now on?

Do you know what files were/are being downloaded in the update (are these always the same)? and what color is the reboot notice?

My test PC has been on for the last 5 days and I still haven't received a reboot notice. My DB version is currently on 6.13630. This is not a normal occurrence as there appears to be a problem where the file that is being downloaded may not be installing for a reason on your machine.

Thanks for the reply - as far as I know the files downloaded are just the daily updates - as far as I can recall they were not large files approx. 300-600mb in size. My database version is also 6.13630 with 3,546,581 Intelli-Signatures: as for the color of the reboot notice I cannot recall. I try to manually update Spyware Doctor at the same time each day - I will try again today and see what happens.

I think you meant 300-600kb? if its 300-600mb, we might have a problem :p

Sorry yes I meant to say KB - were tha last two daily updates around that size?

Yep, the recent updates were only DB updates and are about that size.

Later on today I will manually update again and see what happens. If it asks me to reboot again I will try to get some screenshots.

Hi I just updated to Database Version 6.13640 (3,552.676 Intelli-Signatures) without the reboot occuring. If the problem occurs again I will post the screenshots.
