Site Guard too slow

Is there a quick way to disable Site Guard when waiting for pages to load in Internet Explorer 8 (I'm running XP Home SP3)? A little icon in the browser's status bar, perhaps?

Sometimes it seems to slow page loading to an unacceptably long time (eg the Adobe store, US or UK, takes me 15 seconds to load with SG off; with it on, I gave up after 10 minutes.)

I'm using SD v7.0.0.508 (no AV) and Eset ESS 4.0.567.0

Try disabling Browser Guard and see if this helps. Disable items in the IntelliGuard list?
You might also want to try uninstalling Browser Defender in control panel and see if this speed things up.
