I am thinking of buying Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade to cut Costs, am i right in thinking, that once the Upgrade is Installed ok and say several months later, I have a problem and have to Format HDD to overcome this problem, do I have to reload the Startup Discs with Vista, that came with Computer 12 months ago and them also Install Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade again, or do I have further expense and have to buy the Full Version Windows 7 Home Premium and Install ? ?

win 7upgrade can be installed as an upgrade or a clean install. your choice.. But it is best to backup your present date and do a clean install. I have had no problems what so ever. working like a charm and much faster on a 64bit clean install of the upgrade. You do not need your previous version as long as you had a leggally registered copy of it. go to microsoft and read about the installation choices you have for win 7 upgrade...
