Hello. I have Ultra ATA 100 WD 30GB drive. It does don seem to work in windows 2000 when I plug it into ATA 100 slot. It works very well in ATA 66 slot. I am running an audio application and ATA 100 is the reason I purchased the drive. On the box it has "Designed for Windows 2000" logo, while all the vendors are telling me it will not work with Win2K yet. Can anyone shed some truth on this for me please? Thanks, Alex.

Thanks again Andy,
The problem is resolved. There is an ATA 100 driver posted by Microsoft. They claim the driver will be included in the next service pack. I installed the driver, plugged the drive into ATA100 slot and it worked like a charm.
