dcom exploit

i'm using Windows RC 1 on my other computer. I have PC Tools firewall (beta) and Avast antivirus installed. i just did get notification that Avast has blocked "dcom exploit" (actually 2 times). Should firewall block that, or is it some kinda other problem?

Upgrade to the latest version of the PCTFW as it has been released. The version is 6.0.0.74.

Have a look at this - http://www.grc.com/freeware/dcom.htm and shut down DCom as it is not needed.
