Windows Updates Help

Late last year I bought a Micron P3. When I tried to update my system, I got a message from the Windows Updates site that I had to get my updates by using the software provided, not IE. Is there anyway to disable this and use the Microsoft Windows Update function?

Your organization has decided to provide software updates internally rather that through Windows Update. To download updates for your Windows Computer, please see your network administrator.
