Is it possible in WMP7 to change which collums are shown when playing a cd or in the library? My monitor is small so i can't see all columns without scrolling and half of them i dont even want to see (e.g. play count)!! If anyone knows how to hide columns it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Just hover the cursor over the column headings until you see arrows pointing left and right, then left-click and drag left on the column you don't want to see, drag right to show it again.
Works for me, hope it works for you.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I tried that and it just annoys me cos all i really want is artist and track name, so i end up with half a screen of small columns, and if theres any writing in them you get the awful "D..." where it cuts off the word. No ideas on how to delete them?
In the registry, theres a column info key (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\ Player\PlaylistColumnInfo), so I was hoping there was someway to do it with that.
Any ideas?

Nope, sorry. I only had the simple solution, which apparently was not a complete one. You will need a registry guru to help with any registry editing, sorry I am not one of them. /images/w3t/icons/frown.gif

Thats ok, thanks for your help anyway. It just surprises me that there isn't an easy way to do it, I mean does anyone really want columns like "play count" and "data provider" anyway? lol
