Add remove programs left part of the program"HP Smaart Scanner " in Control Panel.
How do I remove ?/

check out www.zdnet.com and look for a free ware or shareware add/remove cleaner. I have had and used them and they work quite nicely. Sorry I don't have a specific url to take you there :(

You're talking about a control panel icon, right ? Just check your windows/system folder then, or do a find for *.cpl
One of these .cpl files is responsible for its appearance (rightclick, "open with control panel" to check), just delete it.
