Media Player (win ME)

The Media Player included in Windows ME does not seem to recognise ANY type of media-file. Files are marked as Media Files, but cannot be opened. The soundcard functions fine, there is no problem with games and other applications.

Anyone who knows the answer???

try playing a midi or a music cd from your rom drive. it is either you have the wrong format, or you need to reinstall your media player, or so download some other player

I have tried reinstalling, did not work, any suggestion for another player??

Global Divx.....plays everything media player does.....only better
