Hi Guys,

Does anybody know how can I prevent my users running programs from floppy disk? They has to be able to read/write floppy disks but they mustn't run anything from floppy.
My other question is how can I hide the security tab from the file properties dialog box.

If the Floppy has to be enabled read/write then there is nothing you can do ( speaking of Win NT 4 )

Hi,

Actually I found a small program which can do it, but it costs 40$ / machine, and I would need it on more than 300 computers. I also found a small MS program with source code, which can do something similar, you can restrict certain users or groups access for floppy drive, while other users and groups can handle floppies. I tried to add the needed functionality for this prog. but I wasn't succeed.
