Background message help needed

I got rid of all the garbage on my computer with Spyware Doctor.
On my background the following message is superimposed on the background picture.

DANGER!!!
Your computer is INFECTED!
Attention!!!
Such infection will cause permanent loss of all information stored on your computer: documents, files, etc.
All your secret data like logins, passwords, credit card information can be accessed by third-parties for malicious purposes.
All your online activities like sending e-mails, visiting web-sites are logged and stored on your hard disk.
Spyware blocks the deletion of such information from our computer and makes your online actions traceable.
PROTECT YOURSELF!
DELETE SPYWARE FROM YOUR COMPUTER RIGHT NOW!

Any suggestions as to how to get rid of this annoyance?

Could you please follow the instructions in this thread: http://www.pctools.com/forum/showthread.php?t=55923 to provide us with some additional info.

If all garbages are removed properly, you may be able to change background image of your desktop. If not, malware will not allow you to change them.

So if you can change them, just change it back to your original background image. If not, please follow Achen's instruction and send PC Tools an additional information for a support.
