I purchased the Spyware Doctor to get rid of a nasty virus on my computer, the PC Antispyware virus. It has not gotten rid of it at all, just tells me its there and when I re-log on its still there and I'm really annoyed.

I want my money back as per the 30 day guarantee, have sent messages to support with no response. I will follow this up with my credit card company and the trading standards office if I don't get a response but how do you contact these people?

I am really annoyed that I purchased a product from a company that promised something it doesn't deliver and also that has no telephone support in the UK, would never have done so had I known.

Can someone please help? Thanks

I've found them to have one of the best support structures of many av companies. Especially at this forum.

Norton is ok if you want them to take over yr pc remotely from India for several hours but if the software corrupts your in for real pain!
AVG is just awful..I'll say no more.

Often an av product will remove the harmful aspects but doesnt always get the remnants. None of them clean it all up for you, you always should check up on google and manually check what the payload for these things are and see what its left behind and altered.

many inexperienced computer users have little understanding of software and often install a product then dont bother to even set it up or set it to update or scan then wonder why they get infected. most i would say dont know the difference between what a firewall or antivirus is..shame really. :(
