I have a game that I love playing, Worldwide Soccer Manager, but Spyware Doctor will no longer allow me to play. Normally when I double-click the icon for the game, my CD drive will get going as my computer reads it off the CD and then starts the game up and I'm good to go. Unfortunately, now all that happens when I double-click the icon is this message:
---
Malicious Action Blocked
Spyware Doctor has blocked an application wsm.exe attempting to access a file.
Path: C:\DOCUME~1\MATHEW~1.PC2\LOCALS~1\TEMP\~E5.0001
---
And I can't figure out any way to fix this. Please help! :o

Could you zip up the file and attach it to this thread? and we'll check this out further.
In the meantime, try the following:
1. Open Spyware Doctor and select the 'Settings' button >> 'History'
2. Locate wsm.exe detections. You should be able to see the detailed description of the detection at the bottom of the screen.
3. Once you have located the items you wish to allow, right click on the item and select 'Add to Global Action list'
The the detections should then be ignored by all IntelliGuard Tools and Spyware Doctor scans.

Awesome - thanks! That worked perfectly. :D
I would be glad to "zip up the file" but would need help in order to do so (very computer illiterate in some areas).

Click Start, Help and Support, in the search box enter zip, there is all the information that you need about compression.
To compresss (zip) a file:
Find the file, make a copy of it, right click the file copy, click properties, click advanced, click compress contents to save space.

Thanks. What file am I looking for? Is it the C:\DOCUME~1\MATHEW~1.PC2\LOCALS~1\TEMP\~E5.0001 folder because, if so, I cannot locate that on my computer. If it's somewhere else, please point me in the right direction.

Because this is a temp file, the file name will change as another one is created, hence the next time you go back, you will not be able to locate the file. If you could zip up the file wsm.exe and send this to us, we can check this out. We'll also try to test this game with SD.

Wow, I just figured out that if I right-click the icon, there is a simple "send to compressed (zip) folder" option right there. So simple lol.
Unfortunately I am having trouble attaching it. The first time it asked me to log in again even though I was already logged in and the second time I received this message, "Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing. If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error."
Although it is 14.1 MB (the zipped folder), so that may be why.
Here, let me try to zip up the icon I clicked on - not sure if that can help, but that's all I can do right now. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do.
For what it's worth, I have had both this game and Spyware Doctor for a long time now (more than a year in both cases) and have never had this issue before until just a couple days ago.

I sent you a PM with details on how you can upload that 14meg file :)
