Regarding the latest What's New page at
http://www.pctools.com/spyware-doctor/features/
I'm a bit confused... Has AV become a free plug-in for SD?
If it's always been free, sorry - my feeble mind never picked up on that. :p

However, the page at
http://www.pctools.com/spyware-doctor/addon/
reports my SD is unregistered (it is registered) even if I open that page while logged into my account.

I am not real sure. For me a long time ago it was a free upgrade, but that may have changed.

Why don't you start at My Account

http://www.pctools.com/forum/showthread.php?t=48180

and see what your status is for your Spyware Doctor license and what addons are available.

Happy, Happy, Happy. Sigh. I kind of figured that my mention of it is registered and while logged into my account would have covered those bases. Though I do 'fess up to not capitalizing My Account; sorry that threw you for such a loop.

My confusion arises from the placement of AV as an option on the latest "What's New" page:
http://www.pctools.com/spyware-doctor/features/

The method for adding the AV plug-in has moved from the My Account model
http://www.pctools.com/spyware-doctor/addons/
to this model:
http://www.pctools.com/spyware-doctor/addon/

And note, the pricing of SD for $29.95 and SD+AV for $39.95 remains unchanged.

So my question still remains: Is AV for SD free?

Thanks anyhow for jumping and letting me know you don't know.

Spyware Doctor is US$29.95 and SDA is US$39.95. However, sometimes there may be a promotion on offer. To purchase the AV plugin, you can simply visit: http://www.pctools.com/en/spyware-doctor/addon/type/AV/code/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/ (enter in your license code to replace the xxxxxxxxxxxxx)
