Hi, good day! I have a problem hope that you can help me to solve the problem. Thank you.

I'm using Window 2000 Professional 5.00.2195 Service Pack 1 Chinese Traditional Version, I installed it end of January this year. My computer hardware is Pentium II 300MHz, with motherboard ASUS P2L97.

Since early this month, my computer always hang, a blue screen pop up and following message appreared:

***STOP:0X000000B8 (0X00000000, 0X00000000, 0X00000000, 0X00000000)
A wait operation, attach process, or yield was attempted from a DPC routine.

Beginning dump of physical memory. Physical memory dump complete. Contact your system administrator or technical support group.

Initially I thought my computer memory RAM is damage, therefore I pull it out and buy a new PC100 128MB RAM, but the same problem occurs.

May I know what's the problem? What should I do now?

Hope that you can reply me as soon as possible. Thank you very much!

Thank you.

I didn't add any new hardware, just only the new 128MB PC100 RAM.

I did update my windows 2000 Pack 1

Was the problem evident before you installed SP1 ? If not uninstall SP1 using the procedure documented in the following knowledge base article.
