Sys. history shows a lot of "client has encountered a time out, client has recovered from a time out." (Client being PCT.)
Might have something to do with the excessive cpu boot usage? A setting of mine? Conflict?

There are a whole bunch of these that started 7-11 and run through 7-13. Nothing since. Was just wondering what it means.

Thanks for the additional info. It looks like the scan engine may have hung for some reason causing a time out.

Still getting the occasional hang.
Not to mention wicked cpu usage on boot all of the time. (That started after the last version update. It quiets down after a few minutes. I suspect a conflict with ad-aware, haven't verified yet.)
Gonna go the re-install route. Will post as to how much of a mess I make of that.
