Man8.exe

Hi all,

I get a 'Suspiscious activity' warning sometimes about Man8.exe which I've quarantined - C:WINDOWS/system32/man8.exe - but I can't find what it is or why it's suspicious - does anyone have any clues on this?

Otherwise if you can submit a copy of the file to www.threatexpert.com that would be very useful.

Thanks Matt, but when I tried to get that file from quarantine to Threat Expert it wasn't recognised. Any clues would be appreciated.

Did you restore the file from quarantine first?

No, because I don't have a good idea whether or not the file was malicious.

You can restore the file, don't execute the file, zip the file, send it to threatexpert and then run a scan again with SD.
