I downloaded and installed the latest version of Spyware Doctor with Antivirus yesterday onto my PC. I have my laptop networked with the PC.
I can access the My Documents folder and subfolders on the laptop from the PC but with Spyware Doc running I can't access the My Docs and subfolders on the PC from the laptop.
Last night I was closing Spyware Doc down completely to make the connection work. This morning I've found I only have to disable Intelliguard for all my folders on the PC to show up when I access them from the laptop.
I've tried disabling the elements of Intelliguard one by one to see if there was one in particular that was blocking the laptop without success.
I noticed there is a "Manage exclusions" link in each element of Intelliguard and presumably I have to put an exclusion in somewhere to stop it blocking the laptop?
I have no idea what to put or how to do that though. Some help would be appreciated please. It is a LAN cable network and I'm running Windows XP on both PC and Laptop.
