reg or regedit?

I want to make a few registry edits via a .reg file in a logon script but I don't want the computer prompting the user when it runs. What is the best method?

the probably most asked and answered question in this forum,
please do some research before asking either here or in the Registry Guide or Registry FAQs.

You will find that REGEDIT has some options that can be set when calling the program as command, one of them beeing <font color=red>/S</font color=red> = Silent mode.
