check this out I install my 3com ISA nic card reboot my computer (running win ME) comes up and installs all the P&P drivers and tells me to reboot.. I reboot and it comes up again reboot so I reboot and it comes up again reboot so this time I say cancel and go into my computer and to my surprise my cd rom and burner are bote disabled don't even show up in my computer so I go to device manager and my primary and secondary IDE controllers are dissabled... I know what your thinking IRQ conflicts.. guess what there were none and no MEM address conflicts either so I try rearanging and putting the 3com isa in all my different slots... same thing. So now I try my buddies 3com PCI nic card in all the PCI slots SAME THING. can't figure this one out. If anyone can shed some light on this it would be much appreciated.
