Reboot Error

Windows crashed and when I reset the comp I got the following error :

Cannot find a device file that may be needed to run windows or a windows application.

The windows registry or system.ini file refers to this device, but the device file no longer exists.

Then another couple of lines of mindless lingo were given

The missing file is viagart.vxd

I have already re-installed windows and all my drivers but the error still appears on reboots. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.
