First off I would like to recognize Saner's hard work in single handedly translating ThreatFire 4.5 into Turkish. Very Impressive! There will be something in the mail at the end of the month for you as a Thank You.

Whats Next?
As Turkish is the first language to hit 100%, you may not be aware of what happens from here. As PC Tools Together is just starting out we have all community translators and no community reviewers. Even though there will be promotions in the near future, the Turkish will be reviewed internally before being released in the form of a Community Language Pack that can be applied to the existing ThreatFire product.

This is a fairly short process and we would expect to be offering the language pack for download shortly after the official launch on May 25th.

Saner has ensured that Turkish for ThreatFire will be the first free Community Language Pack offered.

Great Work!!

I am glad to help in this process. But, there may be a problem with character encodings. I think the problem is that the web site uses UTF-8 but the software uses ANSI coding. So some special Turkish characters are displayed incorrectly.

Also, an option to download the latest version of a translated file for testing purposes would be nice.

Saner - Can you give an example of a character that isn't displaying correctly in the app (You can just give me the English translation and I'll take a look)

Thank you for the second suggestion around testing the lang pack while in work.

Translations for the following have that problem to give an example:

Log Details
Registry Value Set
Alias

For log details I show:

Günlük Ayrıntıları

Is that not correct?

Unfortunately, no. It should appear like this:

But it appears as:

The Turkish version has been reviewed and it looks to be very high quality. There were a few character corruptions and 5 or 6 translations still in English (These both were most likely due to the App or an export so it gives us a chance to improve it). Really happy that the work Saner has done lives up to the ThreatFire quality present in other languages!

The next step is a review for any layout issues due to text length etc. In the future this will be something volunteers will be able to help out with.

The order of release will still be as follows:

Turkish
Albanian
Finnish
Any languages that hit 100% after that
