Hi
Having seen a few comments in the forum about Browser Defender, I thought I would put up a poll to see everyone's views.
Do you want a standalone version of Browser Defender?
Or are you happy for it to be just available in the PC Tools Internet Security Suite?

I guess my view is already known, but for those who haven't seen the thread I created, my vote goes for both versions.

I apologize profusely, however I gave out some incorrect information on this issue. Browser Defender is available as a standalone product from www.browserdefender.com.
I apologize again for the confusion. Go to it! :)

I guess you did. I did ask if PC Tools was intending to keep it as standalone, after the beta stage finishes. ;)
Anyway... At least, now users can give their opinion.

I agree that Browser Defender should be available as a standalone product. I would use it instead of Site Advisor by McAfee.

There should be more polls like this to rate the popularity of products and hopefully have a say at what we want in a product.

Hi PCTools,
Browser Defender ... to me is much Superior to Norton Safe Web.
I have refused to use McAfee SiteAdvisor simply because it does NOT offer a Stand-alone version of it ... you know like yours.
I don't like programs that are INTRUSIVE!
Thanks,
G! :)

It should be available standalone.
McAfee SiteAdvsor is a joke as it rates sites with malware as safe.
