Will BrowserDefender be provided as a standalone and freeware, when it comes out of beta?

Hi there - the very short answer to that question is 'no'. :)

At least, it is not currently planned to be offered as a standalone product. I will notify you if this changes in the near future.

I see... Well, that's too bad. I really like the concept behind BrowserDefender, but, I won't be a getting a bundle, just for a feature. I guess more users share the same thoughts.

I'm aware that keeping both versions (standalone and bundled) would mean more work (?), but, still sad to see that it will die as a standalone tool.

(First Memory Scanner and now BrowserDefender.)

Thanks

I have forseen this... but I was being optimistic.

Like m00nbl00d, I too like the concept of Browser Defender being an optional standalone product.

And even though I really like Browser Defender... I too won't be getting a bundle package just to have this capability. I also won't continue to use an unsupported beta product, .. especially when there are other good supported freeware alternatives.

Please ignore my previous reply on this issue. Browser Defender is available for standalone install from www.browserdefender.com. I apologize for the confusion! :)

But, the question still stands, though. Will PC Tools still make it available as a standalone tool, as soon as the beta period ends?

Once the beta ends, Browser defender will be a standalone product as well as bundled with our products :D
